Djemetta es una de las voces principales de la veterana banda catalana The Kinky Coo Coo’s. Amante de los sonidos jamaicanos y la música negra desde temprana edad, cambió la poesía de su niñez por escribir canciones. Está especializada en culturas africanas y desarrollo, y no se imagina cómo sería su vida sin viajar. Para ella, la música es el desnudo más íntimo del alma y el colocón más potente. Puso voz al primer disco de The Gramophone Allstars como entusiasta del Jazz, pero es en el Reggae o el Rocksteady en los estilos que se siente más cómoda.
